Use Strideprint for yourself, and fairly. Your videos stay yours. We fit shoes, we don't treat injuries.

Draft, to be reviewed by counsel. Not legal advice. Version 0.2.

Runners' legs and shoes in a road race, blurred by speed

The short version.

To help you read. The full terms below are the ones that count.

  1. Use Strideprint for your own running, and play fair.

  2. Your videos are yours. We send them to our technical analysis provider for your fitting, nothing more.

  3. Share your report freely. Don’t resell it.

  4. We are not a medical service. If it hurts, see a professional.

1. Access to the site

  1. 1.1These terms cover the Strideprint website, your account and the fitting app ("the service"), run by Alexis Maresca, entrepreneur individuel (EI), trading as Beluga, SIREN 893 369 918, SIRET 893 369 918 00014, Rennes, France.
  2. 1.2Browsing is free and needs no account. Buying a fitting is also covered by our Terms of sale.
  3. 1.3We may pause the service for maintenance.
  4. 1.4Using the service means you accept these terms.

2. Your account

  1. 2.1You sign in with your email: a one-time link, or a password if you set one. There is no sign-in with Google or Apple.
  2. 2.2You can start a fitting before giving your email: we then create a guest account tied to this browser. Add your email to keep your fittings. One account per person, and it can’t be transferred.
  3. 2.3Think someone got in? Write to support@strideprint.run and we look into it.
  4. 2.4Delete your account anytime in Settings, Privacy. We delete your profile, fittings, reports, videos and images right away. Payment records stay with Stripe, as accounting law requires. For what our technical analysis provider holds, write to support@strideprint.run and we ask it to delete it.

3. Play fair.

Film yourself, use your fitting for you, leave the robots at home.

Go ahead

  • Film your own run
  • Ask a friend to hold the phone
  • Share your report with anyone
  • Take it to your local shop

Please don't

  • Film someone without their consent
  • Scrape or bulk copy our data
  • Try to break or reverse engineer the service
  • Resell fittings without a store agreement

Under the age of digital consent in your country? A parent or guardian sets up and supervises the account. If an account breaks these rules, we may suspend it after telling you why, or at once when safety or the law requires it.

4. Your videos stay yours.

You give us a limited, free right to store them briefly and send them to our technical analysis provider for your fitting. Never used in ads or content unless you say yes, in writing.

What we keep, and for how long.

On our side, your video only passes through: it is deleted once sent for analysis. Our analysis provider keeps its copy under its own retention policy. Details in our Privacy policy.

5. We fit shoes. We don't treat injuries.

A fitting reads how you run to suggest shoes. It doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent injury. If running hurts, stop and see a doctor or a physiotherapist.

The rest, in outline.

Full text after review by counsel, in the same plain words.

6. Intellectual property

The brand, the site, our reports, shoe data, texts and photos belong to us or our licensors. Your report is yours to keep and share, not to republish commercially.

7. Liability

What we answer for, what we don't (shop prices, stock, how a shoe feels on your foot), within the limits the law allows. Your consumer rights stay untouched.

8. Links and shops

Some shop links may earn us a commission, at no cost to you and never for a better rank. The shop’s own terms apply to your purchase. See how we make money.

9. Changes to these terms

We tell you about big changes before they apply. Translations will follow.

Something unclear?

Ask before you agree. We'd rather explain a clause than have you guess. A human answers.
