Racing shoes.

Light foams, stiff plates, fewer grams. Built for race day, and the right one depends on how you land.

Foam and drop, mapped.

Race shoes are not all soft and tall. Right means a firmer ride, up means more heel.

Before you choose.

Fast shoes, honest answers.

Are plated racing shoes worth it for slower runners?

They can be, but the gain is smaller at easy paces and the shoes are less stable. If you land heavily on your heel or your foot rolls in, a stable tempo shoe may serve you better.

What is the difference between a stiff and a very stiff plate?

How much the plate resists bending. Very stiff plates give more snap at pace but load the ankle and calf differently. Your fitting shows how your stride handles it.

Should I train in my racing shoes?

Sparingly. Race foams wear faster. Use them for a few key sessions and the race itself, and keep a daily trainer for the rest.
